About Me

I have been a RD/RDN for 30 years. I hold a Master of Science in Nutrition and I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I have worked in clinical inpatient and outpatient settings, taught culinary classes to college students and nutrition to nursing students. I have also worked in public health in the area of maternal and child nutrition. I have been practicing mindfulness meditation and yoga for 10 years. I am a passionate cook of global cuisine.

My Approach

Intuitive Eating is a powerful way to empower your autonomy, bring joy back to eating, and move toward physical and psychological health.

Intuitive Eating will help you achieve authentic health. Authentic health is achieved when you integrate the guidelines of the scientific community into your life in a way that honors your inner world of body and mind.

We will explore how your beliefs, self-care, and self-talk influence your ability to nourish yourself in a satisfying way.

Our work together will be grounded in nonjudgmental awareness and self-compassion.

I will focus on how well your body works and seek to normalize rather than pathologize eating. Hunger is a good thing!
